Presenting dishes that reveal the true flavors of Italy, AAA Four-Diamond Resort at Squaw Creek chef’s will offer guests an opportunity to sample dishes with paired wines at the monthly Chef’s Tasting, which takes place on Thursday, Aug. 21 at 5 p.m. with the theme of Much More Than the Sopranos: A Light Tour of Italy.

• Fiori di Zucca Ripieni – Stuffed Zucchini Flowers
• Arancino Di Risso – Stuffed Risotto Fritter
• Fileto di Maiale en Agrodolche – Italian Sweet & Sour Pork
• Fragole al Vino Bianco – Strawberries in White Wine
Cost for the event is $15. All proceeds from the event are donated to the Tahoe Truckee Excellence in Education Foundation. For reservations or further information call 530-581-6621, or visit www.visitsquawcreek.com. Online dinner reservations for Six Peaks Grille are available on the Website.
